Expenses / Direct Costs

TextIn a budget / contract, the expenses / direct costs refer to all the non labor costs that are needed to execute the contract. For example:

Travel and accommodation Software licences Hosting fees Equipment 3rd party service

In most cases there is no margin associated with these items as you charge them at cost to the client. Nonetheless, Conduite does allow to specify a margin. This can be useful when you are reselling services and get a commission (ex: hosting services, licences).
